What a dreadful thing to happen! The crane driver was probably worried he had killed someone.
Christmas day at the beach, or in a shady park, lots of cold foods and sleeping it all off until the cooler night. Wouldn't be without it! LOL I would have gladly been without it the year the temperature hit 104F. We had no air conditioning, and sat around looking at each other and sipping cold water all day. A nightmare.
The rain has stayed away for a few days in a row. If it hadn't, I'd have been on the next plane over!

Oh, I laughed out loud, Cris, and I had a mouth full of food. It nearly ended up on my monitor! ROFL! What a gorgeous, funny dog!
Christmas without snow and caps and warm coats are something weird for me. As well as the Santa Clouse in short skirt ;P
Well, Michal, you won't know until you try!
Heavy storms results:

Wow! That's amazing!

Giant spiders don't appear on the kitchen ceiling every day, so it's a videoworthy occasion when a father decides to demonstrate his wildlife-management skills.

In some places they DO appear every day. When are you coming over for a visit, Cris? Hmmm? LOL
The drop bears are my biggest concern. Think I'll stay here :)
Ah dear,,,i love the foot in the bowl as he runs for his life ,,,,ahh dear dear... :O)

Be afraid, Cris. Be very afraid...
That's precisely how I imagined it. Then they leave no evidence of their attack. Not even some drop bear droppings. Scary indeed!!
In that video they attack New Zealanders. They prefer fresh, juicy Americans, as far as I know...
Hard for them to identify an American from that height and angle. They prefer the pleasingly plump. A larger and slower target.
I am canceling my cruise to the antipodes regardless...
Even if I buy you an umbrella?
Even if you buy me an armored personal carrier!
Ah, ya big chicken!
Not sure if this is a funny on not, but it is related to Photography and it is on Youtube:

Ouch! An expensive lesson.
A brave rat:

Poor little thing was so brave. Good for it! I love it.
I see that Oz has these too: Meat ants (Iridomyrmex purpureus), also known as meat-eater ants or gravel ants, are a species of ant belonging to the Iridomyrmex genus. They can be found throughout Australia.

I'm definitely not coming anytime soon unless the meat ants eat the drop bears and spiders.
The rat video is cool Michal!!
Musical instruments all have to come from somewhere. And sometimes that place can be very unusual. This Texas band teacher plays the turkey baster.
